Our brains are crazy

I’m sitting here in the Inner Harbor drinking Fiji water. It tastes very smooth and calm. Of course, I know this to be nonsense. In a scientific blind taste test I would not be able to tell the difference. Yet, here I sit, drinking this water, KNOWING that it is not unique in any way discernible to my taste buds, and think it tastes great.

We are fearfully and wonderfully made. And the human brain is crazy pants.
